The Spore Premiums.--(Private Premiums by James Spore.) Best Crayon or Pencil Drawing by a Pupil of any School. . . . The first premium, twenty-five dollars, was awarded to John Schneer, St. Louis, for an elegantly executed map of North America. This young gentleman is a pupil of the Franklin School of this city.
