[P. 98.] Diploma and twenty dollars, for painting in Composition Water Colors. This last painting excited universal attention--it was a happy subject. It represented a Zouave of the African army; and the dress, attitude, equipments and all, were in keeping with the ideas one would form of these wild and warlike soldiers.
