Head, Life size, in Oil.--Miss S.M. Peale, St. Louis, bore off the laurels on this occasion, and to her was awarded the first premium, Diploma and fifteen dollars. It was a portrait of Col. Johnson, of the Mercantile Library. [P. 98.]
