BURNHAM BROTHERS particularly excel in plain photographs, which we consider of the highest importance in this department. Their pictures show great fullness and depth of tone, fine grouping, and a happy faculty of seeing at once the best position in which to place their subjects. Their little frame of daguerreotypes are beautiful specimens of art. SILVER MEDAL. [P. 29; exhibited under heading: "Photography." Entries 02460041 and 02460042 collectively index this entry.]
