22 x 14. Grouse covey in woods, enjoying themselves generally. There is poetry in the picture--exquisite language as well as exquisite painting. Mr. Tait stands at the head of animal and bird painters in this country. This charming work will not fail to accredit him in the eyes of all who have the pleasure of studying it. [P. 55.]
