38 x 40. This is Beauty traveling. We have a lady of "pretty nineteen," habited in traveling costume, occupying the corner of the car. her blue veil is thrown aside, displaying one of those faces which one never tires with studying. Over her shoulders is thrown a crimson shawl. In her lap a traveling satchel, and a "Teacher's Manual," which latter shows who she is--"Going west to teach%" This tells the story, and most charmingly has the painter discharged his duty to Beauty. [P. 60.]
