17 x 20. This beautiful composition represents the interior of a peasant's cottage. The father and mother are surrounded by a happy group of children. The oldest of which has a dead mouse attached to his whip-lash, which he is dangling on the floor for the kittens to chase. One of which has made the capture, and the others are watching their chance at the prize. [P. 62.]
