25 x 30. View taken at Kings Hill, near St. Joseph, Buchanan county, Mo. A deep glade with foliage on the left, and a farmer going to his work form the foreground. In the middle distance is a snug little farm-house; while beyond, a glimpse of river, with steamers coming up. [P. 62.]
