A portrait of a beautiful young lady, attired in rich watered satin, seated beneath a tree. In her right, she holds a sprig of the forget-me-not flower, the language of which and the miniature suspended from her neck tells the story of an absent lover. [P. 13; exhibited under heading: "Oil Paintings in Rich Gilt Frames."]
