Appears in exhibition catalog as entry no. [not numbered] (Sale info: For Competition).
The colored photographs, by the same, excel not only in the foregoing particulars, but also in the flesh tints, choice of coloring in the drapery, and accessories, and in retaining the likeness. They are altogether finished specimens of the art. In the portrait of Hon. Presley Ewing, we find additional evidence of the usefulness of the art in making correct life-size pictures.
