Called LO SPAGNOLETTO: born at Xativa in Valencia. (1589-1656.) Scholar of Caravaggio. On panel, 4' x 5'1. Note.--This picture was painted for the Archbishop of Naples. The head of St. Joseph is a portrait of the Archbishop, whose family-name was Lazzari. It was purchased from the Palazzo Lazzari at Naples in 1848. [P. 21.]
