In Hamburg. In consequence of the loss of the helm, which drifts in the foreground, an emigrant vessel has run upon a reef, and threatens every moment to go to pieces. A fishing-smack approaches to the rescue of three or four persons, clinging to part of a broken mast, which likewise drifts away from the vessel. 6'3 x 4'10 1-2.
