This painting at once arrests attention; it is one of the best pictures of this class in the country, by an American Artist. Mr. B. spent some years among the Indians in this part of America, and it is not flattery to say, has immortalized his name by this admirable work of Art. The picture shows flat prairie and table land. The river is lined with cotton wood, willows and aspen. The most prominent mountain is Laramie Peak, the nearer large peak. To the right, are herds of buffalo coming into the valley. [P. 18.]
