On Copper. N.B. This piece must not be touched. [P. 12 (L).] This finely executed picture, now nearly ruined by peeling from the copper, bears the name of Simon Vouet on the back. Simon Vouet, a Frenchman, 1582-1644, was a pupil and follower of Caravaggio. [P. 12 (S).]
