Curious Original Panel Portrait of Mirabeau, the famous Orator of the French Revolution. In 1793 the mob in Paris seized the carriages of the nobility and having cut out the panels containing coats of arms, obliged the celebrated artists of the day to paint upon them the portraits of the leaders of the Revolution. This is one of the pictures then painted. [P. 25.]
