Was born in Ireland in 1730, and emigrated to American at the age of 11 years. He was appointed, in 1774, to record the proceedings of the first Continental Congress, and continued to occupy the honorable position of Secretary for 15 years, and resigned July 1789. He died August 16, 1824, aged 94 years. [P. 11.]
