Artist. Raphael Sanzio. Original design for the large fresco, "The Marriage Feast," in the Farnesian Palace, at Rome, painted by his pupil Francisco Penni. Prof. Gregori, who generously sent to Italy for this valuable drawing for this exhibition, received it as a present from the Marquis Antaldi Vetti, who inherited it from one of his ancestors, Timelio Vetti, a pupil of Raphael's. It is the only well authenticated work of this divine master ever exhibited in this city. [P. 13; exhibited under heading "Water Colors and Drawings."]
