VENETIAN SCHOOL. No. 79.--THE REPOSE IN EGYPT--on stone--This picture is the production of an artist who had evidently studied the works of Tintoretto. It is brilliant in colour, and, upon the whole, a very pleasing composition, with much beauty of finish. [P. 53.]
