Ruysdael.--This name is here placed to notice the Landscape. No. 4.--A Landscape, quite in his manner, but by the hand of an unknown artist. It is said of Ruysdael that he "reveled in gloom as Cuyp in sunshine." This picture is pleasing, though dark and dirty. [P. 23.]
