Appears in exhibition catalog as entry no. 83
A highly pleasing picture. The ferryboat is upon the point of starting, loaded down with everything. The pig, not relishing the proposed voyage, tries to get overboard, causing considerable disturbance in the boat. The scene on the shore is most admirably reproduced. [P. 28.]
