J.W. Dodge, A. We find by the History of the Rise and Progress of the Arts of Design in America, that Mr. Dodge was born in New-York, Nov. 1807, and, since the publication of that work, he has made great advances in the arts, as may be seen by this portrait. [P. 20.]
