This subject being treated by two artists in this exhibition, to avoid the appearance of partiality, the Committee give the passage in the Appendix. G. Marsiglia, N.A. This gentleman, an Italian by birth, established hmself in New-York about the year 1817, where his merits as an artist has rendered him eminently successful.
