Wm. Sidney Mount, N.A. This gentleman is a native of L.I., and a student perfected by the National Academy of Design, and by the study of nature. Born at Setauket, in 1807, he has for years been at the head of this branch of art. (See Hist. of Arts of Des.) [P. 5.]
