Geo. W. Flagg. Mr. Flagg was born at New-Haven, in 1816. Early attached to the art, he has occasionally enjoyed the instruction of his uncle, Washington Alston. This little picture, of great merit, was painted in Italy. Mr. Flagg is now in New-Haven. (See History of Arts of Design.) [P. 5.]
