In view of the fact that it is the FORM of sculpture that marks its excellence, and not the MATERIAL in which that form is embodied, the Directory, after permission obtained from the owner and artist, caused to be executed in plaster, fifty copies of Baker's Egeria, which were also distributed among the members at the annual meeting.
