His wings/ Of green and purple blent, with ruby tipp'd,/ 'Neath which a streaming plume of paradise;/ Upon a floating silv'ry cloud he kneels/ With golden bended bow to speed the shaft,/ Which from his pendent [sic] quiver forth he draws;/ Keen as the glance from beauty's beaming eye/ With aim unerring and with light'ning speed/ He'll launch the winged weapon to the heart,/ The butt and target of Love's archery."
