Morning on Lake Lucerne with Cattle in the Foreground, (painting)
Verboeckhoven, Eugene, & F. Roffiaen
Appears in exhibition catalog as entry no. 54 (Sale info: TO BE AUCTIONED).
"These two great artists have each exemplified their peculiar talent in this picture in the highest degree. The animals are touched with a delicacy and precision which can with difficulty be equalled; and the purity, warmth and clearness of the morning light among the mountains is surpassingly fine. The scene represents Mt. Pilatus, opposite to the Rhigi, a favorite point of view with tourists." [P. 10; price noted in contemporary hand.]
