The Exhibition of the Columbianum, or American Academy of Painting, Sculpture, Architecture, &c. established at Philadelphia, 1795. The first exhibition opened May 22, 1795, by permission, in the Senate Chamber in the State-House. "Tis not in Mortals to command success, but we'll do more, Sempronius, we'll deserve it."
