[This entry appeared on the broadside with several others, viz.: "Five scriptural paintings temptation of our savior, Christ blessing children, the temptation of Adam & Eve in the garden of Eden, with the tree bearing forbidden fruit, the serpent, the tempter in the tree, and the lion and lamb lying down together, the crucifixion. The resurrection." (serials 06420002 through 06420006 jointly index these individual paintings. Catalogue numbers and dimensions derive from the memorandum accompanying the broadside.]
