A Small Landscape, with Two Horses, Figures, &c., (painting)
Wouvermans, Philip 1620-1668
Appears in exhibition catalog as entry no. 17
A very good specimen of Philip Wouvermans, one of the most eminent Dutch painters. He was born at Haerlem in 1620, and died in 1668 aged 48; and is justly admired for the correctness and elegance with which he painted horses, as well as for the delicacy and truth of his scenes in general. [P. 7.]
