This is very delicate and beautifully executed. It may be found engraved in the first number of the Parthenon. Mr. Darley, as an illustrator of English Literature, has the greatest reputation of any Artist in the United States, and is acknowledged by the English Journals to be equal to any in Europe. His outlines illustrative of Irvings Rip Van Winkle issued by the American Art Union, have made him widely known throughout the land. [P. 11.]
