By Joseph Ribera, called Spagnoletto, one of the most famous painters of his time. He was a Spaniard by birth, but was of the Neapolitan School, and died at Naples in 1659. This is a most natural and beautiful Painting. The old woman expresses by her looks the cold she feels, and the dog at her side appears ready to start from the canvas and bark. [P. 1.]
