Description:
Steven Cameron Newsome, born 1952, was an arts and museum administrator. He was Executor Director of the Maryland Commission on Afro-American History and Culture, and Director of the Banneker-Douglass Museum. From 1990-2004, Newsome was Director of the Anacostia Museum.
