Description:
Aiken depicts a pleasant afternoon in the park in this watercolor scene of pedestrians walking a trail alongside the lake while others are rowing past a red brick bridge. The artist's broken brushstrokes are extremely visible in his rendering of the surrounding vegetation. He uses splashes of yellow to highlight the trees green tops and brown trunks.
