Joanna Banks donated her collection of Jesse Jackson memorabilia from his 1984 campaign. Items include a campaign button, hat, and bumper sticker.

Jesse Jackson was born on October 8, 1941 in Greenville, South Carolina. He is an American civil rights activist and ordained Baptist minister. In 1984 and 1988 he was a candidate for the Democratic Presidential nomination. Jackson organized the Rainbow Coalition in 1984, which merged in 1996 with Operation PUSH (People United to Save Humanity.)
