Jerry Farnsworth (1895-1982) and Helen Farnsworth (1989-1999) were painters, instructors, and writers from North Truro, Mass. Helen was born in Washington, D.C. and died at age 102.
These interviews are part of the Archives of American Art Oral History Program, started in 1958 to document the history of the visual arts in the United States, primarily through interviews with artists, historians, dealers, critics and others.
