Letter in which Takaezu responds to a request for a statement about the Cranbrook ceramicist Maija Grotell and offers encouragement for the upcoming Grotell exhibition. Date is based on research by the Toshiko Takaezu Studio Foundation. The letter is likely from early August 1968 in the time period before the close of the First Invitational Craft Exhibition (which took place July 9 through August 6, 1968) that Toshiko mentions, and during the month that Takaezu began teaching at Princeton University.
