Identification on accompanying note (handwritten): This photograph was taken Sept. 14, 1964 by Mary Herrick and a friend. Occasion - Dr. King had asked to meet me. Upon his presentation of his papers to Boston University along with some of the paintings I had done in his honor; Dr. King, Wm. Christopher, Dr. De Wolfe, Joan Peterson, George Tooker behind Dr. King and Mary Herrick. Wm Christopher, Sept. 19, 1972.
