One of 16 photographs of African-American artists exhibited at the First World Festival of Negro Arts in Dakar, Senegal, 1966. This photograph was also published in the catalog Ten Negro Artists from the United States.
Note on original photo (this is a copy print) lower left suggests the photographer is Trude Fleischman, but catalog credits all photographs to Geoffrey Clements.
