Sixteen original drawings, many with text, that comprised the "Marcel Breuer Coloring Book." The drawings and cryptic text make humorous reference to various Breuer projects, colors, materials, and working methods, such as the Unesco Building in Paris, Cesca and Isokon chairs, his use of stone and concrete, and "Breuer Blue." The book may have been distributed as a year-end office folly. Date derived from stamp on final page: December 20, 1962. A mimeographed copy of the coloring book appears among the Marcel Breuer papers also at the Archives of American Art. This has also been scanned, see digital ID 1022.
