Item is inscribed on verso (handwritten): "Howdy. Things are going just fine. I'm very happy with the students and the shop -I think I'll be doing it again next summer. My only problem is that I spent about $3000 over the grant, but it's a good cause to go into debt for (how I got to blow lots a glass, which I'm doing)."
