Haight, a student at the Sheldon School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, writes in response to Kuniyoshi's letter to the students and acknowledges the print Kuniyoshi sent. He also apologizes that Kuniyoshi can't become an American citizen and includes a sketch of a person (possibly meant to be Kuniyoshi) painting. Date is based on other letters from children at the Sheldon School in response to Kuniyoshi's donation of the print.
