Lindon Smith describes the booking of the ship (the "Stella") and his family's travels from November 4 through 27th. On page dated Tuesday 27th, handwriting changes. Remainder of diary is written in a hand other than Lindon Smith's, possibly that of his father, Henry Francis Smith (based on similarity to handwriting in 1904-1905 Egypt diary, cataloged as item 16846). Remaining entries describe the ship's progress, activities of the passengers and crew, and stops made along the way.
