Document served as the gallery's manifesto, based on the tenets of Eli Siegel's aesthetic realism and drafted by founding members Martha Baird, Louis and Regina Dienes, Rebecca Fein, Nat Herz, Chaim and Dorothy Koppelman, Sheldon Kranz, Barbara Lekberg, Marvin Mondlin, Barbara Singer, and Nancy Starrels.
