Summary:
Rosenberg writes about the Archives of American Art, which had recently received a grant from the Ford Foundation though Rosenberg expresses the need for more funding. He encloses a photostat copy of a letter he received from E.P. Richardson, director of the Archives, describing the Archives' mission and activities, and asking for advice how to obtain funding to support day-to-day operations.
