Note from Saarinen tells Bassett of the end of his vacation in Helsingfors, mostly through images: in the upper left is a frowning man with skiing equipment and the words "leaving Helsingfors" written beneath him; to his right is a simplified map of Norway, Sweden and Finland with a train traveling northwards through the latter; and beneath both of these is a sketch of mountains dotted with trees, a cabin and a village.
