In this letter (most likely to Florence Knoll Bassett), Saarinen describes the sites of Paris that he considers worth visiting, including: the Louvre, Ponte Neuf, Notre Dame, St. Germain de Prés, Palais de Luxembourg, Montparnasse, the Musée Rodin, and Place de Vosges. A small drawing shows the placement of these sites and others throughout the city.
Eero Saarinen to unidentified recipient, 1935-1936. Florence Knoll Bassett papers, 1932-2000. Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution.
