Two black and white mounted photographs of Missouri sculptor Joseph Horchert with works of art. One image depicts Horchert with a rabbit sculpture and the other depicts him with 16 foot model of a William Penn sculpture in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Horchert is pictured on scaffolding (right) with another unidentified man (left). The model appears to be a small scale version of the William Penn bronze cast by Alexander Milne Calder which sits atop Philadelphia City Hall.
Photographs of Joseph Horchert, circa 1920. Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution.
Victor Porter Smith (1921-2012) was a collector in St. Louis, Missouri.
