Correspondence, writings, project and commission files, personal business records, photographs, artwork, printed material and audio visual material regarding the career of painter Charles "Chaz" Bojórquez.
Correspondence is both personal and professional and includes letters and printed emails with friends, clients, and institutions pertaining to projects, events, artwork, and other topics. Writings consist of artist's statements, lectures and conference papers, labels for works of art, and an introduction to the book, "Chaz Bojórquez," by Peter Frank and Amanda Erlansen (Zero+Publishing, 2016). Project files include 72andSunny advertising agency mural project, files on jewelry design, and commission files for companies including Fendi, Disney, Reebok, and MTV. Personal business records include price lists, invoices for sales of works of art, and loan forms.
Photographs are black and white and color and consist of Polaroids, slides, and a photograph album of black and white photographs of Bojórquez, his friends, family, and works of art. Artwork includes sketchbooks and sketches by Bojórquez. Printed material consists of clippings, magazines, catalogs, and exhibition announcements. Audio visual material includes one DVD of Bojórquez's final mural commissioned by 72andSunny.
