Biographical material, letters, writings, project files, photographs and printed material regarding painter and lithographer Kenjilo Nanao.
Biographical material includes identification cards, certificates, address books and appointment books. Letters, both personal and professional, are to Kenjilo and Gail. Writings include 56 bound volumes of diaries and notebooks as well as notepads and loose notes by Nanao about his art and daily life. Project files consist of Nanao's "lithography dossier". Photographs include an album with annotations in Japanese, images of Nanao and others, and slides of works of art. Printed material consists of clippings, gallery announcements and invitations, and exhibition catalogs.
